I finally bought some plants for my deck so I can go out there and enjoy it.
This is the first time I've tried osteospermum (Cape Daisy or African Daisy.) Look how each of the petals are spooned! They make me think of a cartoon alien or bug antenae.
Mom and Dad picked up some hanging lotus for me. They look like flames! The hummingbirds love them.
Kristi helped me find a little recliner so I can comfortably read out there. I'm excited to try it out. (It's way too hot this weekend.)
Here's my view of the wetlands behind me. It's nice listening to the creek and all of the birds. There was a wood pecker somewhere in there this morning. I'm surprised at how loudly its hammering is amplified!
