Found a cool spider web on my back patio. Some really huge spiders have been living back there. The mean looking kind. But the web was pretty.I love Halloween so I made a Halloween wreath! I was going to add some fake webs and spiders to it, but I think I'll leave it as is for now. I kind of like the Goth / Victorian-in-mourning look that it has without the kitschy stuff added.
For some reason, the flash worked best from the side.I cut apart black roses, fake of course, and used the flowers and the leaves and then filled in with black oak leaves. The roses had purple and silver glitter on them already. It was actually pretty easy!

Kathie's Wedding
Longtime neighbor friend from many moons ago, Kathie Smith, recently got married. It was a really beautiful wedding in Boring on her sister's property.
Kathie and her dad, Ed
view of her dress from the back, it had a vintage look to it, suited her perfectly! bride's parents, Carol and Ed SmithDawn and Mom (Dad already had a ticket to see Crosby Stills & Nash at Edgefield that night)Lenwoo and Karen Dowd...more neighbors from the 1970's!pretty and delicious cakebride's sister, Kim
this photo isn't detailed enough, but they had canvas sheets hanging behind the bar (to hide the catering work) and the canvases were painted different earthy colors...it was a very artistic effect
just a lovely Summer evening wedding for a lovely lady!
